PRETTY actress, Ngozi Onyema-Evuka appears very reserved but is steadily and gradually rising fast in Nollywood. Even as she combines motherhood, home and family life with her acting roles, those who have seen her in movies attest to the potentials of the English graduate from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Inspiration - I was inspired by Onyeka Onwenu who played a very interesting role in the movie Conspiracy. She carried her role so well that I couldn’t but admire her. That was the only inspiration I needed to say I could do this thing called acting. So, I started plotting how to get there. But it was difficult as I hadn’t done it before. I didn’t know anyone or where to go or how to start.
Golden opportunity - The opportunity came when in 2001, I returned home for a family meeting and ran into Solomon Eze, aka Mike orihe di nma. He just came to the area to see somebody and I saw him and stopped to commend his contribution to the growth of the movie industry. I went further to tell him how interested I was to feature in the movie. He encouraged me after asking my educational background.
