Papa Samo And The Snake

Papa Samo lives in Addis Ababa. He has three children: two girls and one boy.

One evening, he told them a story: a story about himself.

“My children, I am very brave. I am very strong. I can protect you.”

Suddenly, he jumped in the air. He shouted to his children: “Someone help me! Did you see it fall? It fell on my head! Where is the snake? Quickly! Someone help me!”

His children said: “Father, Father, it just a rope!” They laughed and laughed and laughed.

Papa Samo said: “Let me end my story! Let me end my story! Believe me, I was brave! I was brave! I tell you: I was brave!”
