Kasilive is a duo group consisting of long time friends MacDonald Ditefo aka MacD and Calvin Nhlapo aka Kharioka. Based in Soweto the group formerly consisting of four members started their reign on a temporary broadcast community radio station in 2004 where they hosted a show named Kasilive that featured mainly community based issues and entertainment. By far, it has to be the first ever show on South Africa waves to use 100% ghetto lingo. The group gradually shifted from being a kwaito outfit to a more profound Afro-pop fused with HipHop outfit. Their music is fresh and speaks many languages.
