The Nile Birds

Abd el Rehim , an Egyptian in his late twenties arrives in Cairo coming from a village called Tardah. Proof of his spontaneity : he never knows where the exact size of a piece of land he owns. He is impressed by the magical appearance of the city but fails to handle its cruelty and injustice. He falls in love with a the prettiest girl of the popular district where he lands and lives but faces difficulties in obtaining her love. The girl is taken by the daily struggle she suffers with the hard life of the city. The fall down of Abdel Rehim's sister's small family makes him see clearly how cruel life in the city is. Instead of pursuing his big dream about Cairo, Abdel Rehim decides to take revenge from the city.
